Roads in Cinta Bridge Area Being Repaired

The Seribu Islands Regency Technical Work Unit (UKT) 2 repairs roads in the Cinta Bridge area, RW 02, Tidung Island Urban Village, South Seribu Islands. The work is targeted to be completed next August.

Seribu Islands Technical Working Unit 2 Head, Sofyan said the repair was taken from the front of the Cinta Bridge's Pier to Cinta Bridge Park.

"We installed new three-dimensional paving blocks and kanstine," he expressed, Wednesday (7/24).

This road is the access to one of the iconic tourist destinations in Seribu Islands, namely the Cinta Bridge. So, it must look neat and good.

"In total, road repairs reached 950 square meters. Currently the progress is 70 percent," he explained.

He explained it was done through a third party through a selection process using the e-Purchasing method on the e-Catalog system using costs sourced from the APBD 2024.

"It has been ongoing since June 6, 2024, with a processing time of 60 working days. It will be completed by August 5," he explained.

He added there were obstacles in the work, as  there were many residents and tourists passing by, even motorbike rickshaws because they were the main access to and from the pier.

"To speed up the work, we are coordinating with the port to conduct temporary transfers of passengers or tourists at the Transportation Agency's main pier," he added.

The repair received appreciation from one of the residents from Tidung Island Urban Village Head, Hafsah.

"This location is a leading destination on Tidung Island. Hopefully, it can attract more tourists to visit here," he closed.
